Every backup storage location needs one personal Microsoft account and also you will have different accounts stored in a single location. Reset Microsoft Authenticator
Firstly, Multi-factor authentication which is known as a two-step verification process needs to complete. For this click on https://aka.ms/mysecurityinfo and write details of your KI email address and click on “Next”. After that, you can go Use your Temporary Access Pass instead. If you did not find this option then you can use another browser. Now, write your 8-character time-limited Temporary Access Pass which you received from your local IDAC administrator, then select “Sign in”. Now you can log in to the info page which is for security and Office 365, which will manage your two-factor authentication methods. Select “Add method” and set up a new method. Please ensure to delete any method which is not used.
Another way to reset the Microsoft authenticator app again you need to download the Microsoft Authenticator app on your device. For having SMS or phone call options selected users can visit https://aka.ms/MFASetup and use two options for verifying and signing in. If your Authenticator app is selected as a default mode then click “I can’t use my Microsoft Authenticator app right now” and choose the other option to message or call. Now, click on “Add Method” and click “Authenticator App”. Now you can follow the instruction for a set. For users who are not selected the SMS or call option, they can contact the Help Desk to remove the existing MFA configuration then you can set up your needed MFA option from https://aka.ms/MFASetup.
